The Coordinated Entry Process in Charlotte County assures that homeless individuals that are at the most risk get the help and housing they need first. Coordinated entry is a process developed to ensure that all people experiencing a housing crisis have fair and equal access and are quickly identified, assessed for, referred, and connected to housing and assistance based on their strengths and needs.

The Coordinated Entry Process Committee, called One Charlotte, uses case conferencing to address by-name lists consisting of chronic and veteran homeless populations in Charlotte County for the purpose of getting them housed.
