The community is invited to attend the Inaugural Community Leader Breakfast. This event is being jointly presented by the Gulf Coast Partnership and Together Charlotte at the Isles Yacht Club on February 23, 2018 from 8am-10am.

The Gulf Coast Partnership, in collaboration with the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce, and Charlotte County Economic Development, will recognize businesses and educational institutions who were nominated by their peers as leaders in our community. These awardees are employers and educational institutions who enrich the lives of low income people in Charlotte County through employment, and supported employment programs such as work training, internships, and apprenticeships so they can join the local workforce.

Together Charlotte will be sharing the progress they have made over the last year and will share their 2018 Focus Area for research and strategic action.

The Gulf Coast Partnership believes we can have a community where homelessness if brief, rare, and nonrecurring. The work of the Gulf Coast Partnership is of a quality that builds confidence among stakeholders, funders, and citizens. We bring practical innovations that help people and organizations. Through capacity building, collaboration, research, and awareness, the Gulf Coast Partnership brings our community together while focusing our limited community resources on the most vulnerable populations.

Together Charlotte is a collaborative coalition that empowers and encourages our community to champion high quality health and human services. Together Charlotte envisions a safe, healthy, educated and vibrant community where individuals, families, and organizations are encouraged, engaged, and empowered to actively participate in achieving financial stability and in creating a sustainable quality of life for all.
