The Gulf Coast Partnership will be releasing its Request for Project Applications (RFA) and Complete NOFA Timeline on Monday July 2, 2018 (Update). The information provided in this email are links to the HUD NOFA for FY 2018 and the Changes/Highlights Document released from HUD for this Fiscal Year for your review in advance of the release of our RFA.
This link will take you to the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the funding criteria for the FY 2018 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program. HUD is making available approximately $2.1 billion in Fiscal Year 2018 for the CoC Program. The CoC Program is designed to promote a community-wide commitment to the goal of ending homelessness; to provide funding for efforts by nonprofit providers and local governments to quickly re-house homeless individuals, families, persons fleeing domestic violence, and youth while minimizing the trauma and dislocation caused by homelessness; to promote access to and effective utilization of mainstream programs by homeless individuals and families; and to optimize self-sufficiency among those experiencing homelessness.
This link will take you to a document that summarizes new information and highlights a few changes that are important for the FY 2018 CoC Program Competition NOFA as we implement our local competition process.
We look forward to working with everyone on a successful application for our community this year!
