We offer the following services: case management, peer mentoring, financial assistance, legal, benefits counseling, transportation assistance, moving expenses, and childcare assistance to very low income veterans and their families who are literally homeless or who are about to become homeless to enable them to obtain or maintain stable, permanent housing.
Who can be served?
• Individual veterans.
• Families in which head of household or their spouse is a veteran.
Program Eligibility for Veteran Households to be assisted:
• A minimum of one day active duty service is required (other than for training).
• A person who served in the active military, naval, or air service, regardless of length of service, and who was discharged or released there from, excluding any one who received a dishonorable discharge or was discharged or dismissed by reason of a General court-martial. The period of active service must include service in active duty for purposes other than training.
• Must be low income and meet income requirements.
