The Homeless Coalition, in collaboration with the Gulf Coast Partnership, is holding its Annual Homeless Persons’ Memorial this Thursday, December 21st from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. The service is being held at the Homeless Coalition at 1476 Kenesaw Street in Port Charlotte.
This annual service is held on the first day of winter and the longest night of the year. The memorial service is to honor Charlotte County’s homeless who have passed on this year. There will be lighting of candles and a memorial service to commemorate their lives. Speakers will participate in the program and all are welcome to attend this service.
